Pet portraits are always so special to me. My first portrait I did was for my dog Oreo, who passed away in 2016. My goal with every portrait is to capure their spirit and memory forever. This particular canvas is actually wallpaper on top of gesso board. I gesso on top of of the area where the pet will go, and then apply oil paint.
